According to a video on RSAF's Facebook page, its Rescue 10 team had been activated to retrieve the man from Crown Princess ship.
The RSAF crew, who were on a Super Puma helicopter, used a winch to retrieve the patient. His condition was stabilized on the way to SGH-Singapore General Hospital. The helicopter landed on a grass patch at Outram's hospital.
According to RSAF, though the helicopter crew met with bad weather conditions en route to SGH, the medical evacuation was conducted successfully.
