Princess Cruises’ ship Sky Princess arrived in Southampton England Friday morning, July 23, ahead of her debut for the UK "Summer Seacation" season.
Captain Tuvo is at the helm of the ship and together with all crew onboard will welcome passengers back starting in August.
Sky Princess joins the sistership Regal Princess to operate ex-UK (domestic) voyages for vaccinated guests only, with call ports Belfast, Greenock-Glasgow, Liverpool, Portland. The UK itineraries range from 3 to 7 nights.
The 2019-built Sky Princess is the 4th Royal-class vessel in the Princess fleet, together with Royal Princess (2013), Regal Princess (2014), Majestic Princess (2017), Enchanted Princess (2020), and Discovery Princess (2021). One more vessel of the same class will be constructed for Princess, with a scheduled launch in 2022. In the same class is also the P&O UK liner Britannia (2015).
