Champion Island is located just offshore Floreana Island (Galapagos). The small islet is a popular cruise port destination for snorkeling, scuba diving, wildlife watching - dolphins, whales, sharks, sea lions, giant mantas, sea tortoise, starfish, wrasses, penguins, flamingos, frigates, blue-footed boobies, pintail ducks). The isle is also very important as one of the only two remaining habitats of Floreana Mockingbird.

Charles Mockingbird (officially "Charles Mockingbird", named after Charles Darwin) lives in dryer areas in comparison to other mockingbirds. Currently, there are only 20-40 birds on Champion Island plus other 50-70 on Gardner Island (near Floreana). To avoid its extinction, Champion Island is protected by the Galapagos National Park Service and Charles Darwin Foundation, which also limits the number of visiting cruise tourists.

Champion Rock is a popular drift dive location on a coral wall covered with black and yellow corals.
