  Port Map

Horín is an Elbe River cruise port and small village in Czech Republic's Central Bohemia region, with a population of under 1,000. Horín is located approx 2 km (1 mi) west of Melník and is best-known for the burial vault of the House of Lobkowicz (Czech noble family dating back to 14th-century).

The settlement was founded in the early-14th-century and along with the entire Melník estate belonged to Ferdinand III Habsbursky (1608-1657,  Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia between 1637-1657). In June 2013, the village was badly damaged by a large Elbe and Vltava rivers flood, when the water flooded the local flood barrier. Horin is popular among tourists for cycling (route Kralupy nad Vltavou-Melník-Litomerice-Ustí nad Labem-Decín) and hiking (route Melník Castle - Horín Castle).

As cruise port, Horin is included in the regular schedule of one of Europe's largest river cruise companies - CroisiEurope. The next table shows the company's 8-day cruise tour itinerary between homeports Prague and Berlin-Tegel, with prices from ~USD 2100 pp (double occupancy).
