Porto Antigo (port locode PTAGO) is a Douro River cruise port in Portugal, and landing point for the tours to Cinfaes (town in northern Viseu) with population around 3,300.

Porto Antigo is also a cruise ship landing point for roundtrip bus tours visiting Braga (~80 km/50 mi to the north, ~1 hour drive) and Guimaraes (~70 km/40 mi to the northeast, ~1 hour 15 minutes drive).

Cinfaes (population over 20,000) is most popular for its history linked to Portugal's first king, Afonso I The Conqueror (1106-1185, aka Afonso Henriques). In 1139 AD, he achieved Kingdom of Galicia's independence (from Alfonso VII The Emperor, King of Leon 1135-57) and established the new Kingdom of Portugal. Followed 46 years of constant wars against the Moors (Muslim inhabitants of the Iberian Peninsula and other Mediterranean coastal regions).
