Roztoky (fka Rostok) is a Vltava River (Elber River) cruise port and town in the Czech Republic (Praha-Zapad / Prague-West district), with a population of around 10,000. The town is located north (approx 8 km / 5 mi) from the country's capital city Prague.
The town is on the left bank of the Vltava River and at the mouth of Uneticky Potok (Unetic creek / 15-km long stream, the left tributary of the Vltava). Due to its close proximity to Prague (just 15-min train travel time), Roztoky is becoming more and more one of the Czech capital's suburbs serving as a satellite housing district.
As a cruise port, Roztoky was included in the 2019 schedule of one of Europe's largest river cruise companies - CroisiEurope.
