Sisak is a Sava RIver (Danube River) cruise port and town in Croatia, with population around 40,000. The town is located at the confluence of three rivers (Kupa, Odra, Sava), and approx 57 km (35 ml) southeast of country's capital Zagreb (on Sava River).
Sisak is the biggest river port in Croatia and a centre of country's river shipping industry. The town is on the road Zagreb-Petrinja and on the railroad Zagreb-Sunja. Croatia's largest oil refinery is in Sisak.

Sisak is the starting point for sightseeing tours to Lonjsko Polje Nature Park - Croatia's largest protected wetland (designated in 1993), featuring indigenous breeds of horses and pigs, white storks.
