MS Genting Dream (2016-built, last drydock refurbished in February 2023 / previous in January 2020) is the first vessel in the fleet of Dream Cruises / Resorts World Cruises, a premium travel brand launched by Genting Hong Kong (GHK). She is the first large passenger ship built for a Chinese cruise line, followed by her sistership World Dream / Aroya Manara (2017). The ship features a modern design (similar to NCL Breakaway and NCL Getaway) and amenities comparable to the world’s largest liners from Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Norwegian Cruise Line. In gross tonnage, Genting Dream is equivalent to NCL Epic.

The ship’s deck plan offers 1686 cabins for 3352 passengers (maximum 3400), served by 2017 crew and staff. She has 14 passenger-accessible decks (out of 18 total, 10 with cabins) and boasts 35 restaurants, bars, and lounges, 2 swimming pools, 4 jacuzzies, 16 elevators, a water park with 6 waterslides, an outdoor movie screen, 3D cinema, rope course, zip line, and over 1100 m2 (10,760 ft2) of retail shops. Genting Dream also carries 2 luxury submersibles (mini-submarines), each with a capacity of 4 passengers.

  • Main dining venues include Windows (MDR), Genting Palace (MDR), World Buffet (lido restaurant), Aeris Spa Café, Bread Box, Tiffin Café, Umi Uma Sushi Bar (Japanese), and Silk Road & Cabaret (Chinese).
  • Main entertainment venues include Bar City (complex), Zouk (nightclub), Genting Casino, Red Lion Pub, Zodiac Theatre (999 seats, 3D movies), Genting Rouge Lounge, and Cinema at Sea.

The ship also features the world’s first-at-sea "Penfolds Wine Vault," a partnership with the Australian winemaker Penfolds, served by certified wine connoisseurs.
