Norwegian Getaway (2014-built, last refurbished in 2020) is the second of two Breakaway-class Norwegian Cruise Line ships, together with NCL Breakaway (2013). Like her sister ship, NCL Getaway is one of the Norwegian “Nickelodeon” ships, along with Epic, Gem, and Jewel. The next-generation vessels in the fleet are the two Breakaway-Plus class ships, NCL Escape (2015) and NCL Joy (2017, formerly Norwegian Bliss).
Norwegian Getaway’s deck plan includes a total of 2008 staterooms (15 types, 42 categories) accommodating 3963 passengers (maximum capacity 4819), and she is served by 1650 crew. The vessel has 18 decks (14 accessible to passengers, 10 with cabins), 27 dining venues (9 complimentary), 22 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools, 5 waterslides, 9 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), and 16 elevators.
