Norwegian Viva deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Norwegian Viva deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Norwegian Cruise Line deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Norwegian Viva cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Norwegian Viva staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Norwegian Viva (2023-built, last refurbished in May 2025) is the second of six PRIMA-class NCL–Norwegian Cruise Line ships, with sisterships Prima (2022), Aqua (2025), Luna (2026), Aura (2027) and TBN6 (2028).
The Norwegian Viva deck plan shows a total of 1646 staterooms (35 categories) accommodating 3219 passengers (3950 max capacity), served by 1388 crew (912 crew cabins). The ship has 20 decks (16 accessible to passengers, 9 with cabins), 11 restaurants and food bars (many with indoor/outdoor seating), 17 lounges and bars, 5 swimming pools, 9 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpools) and 16 elevators (including 2 dedicated Haven lifts).
NCL’s PRIMA-class design offers expanded and reconfigured public spaces—both indoor and outdoor—along with a reduced passenger capacity compared to the preceding BREAKAWAY and BREAKAWAY PLUS classes. The class introduces new dining and entertainment concepts, featuring a total of 35 dining venues, bars, and lounges (including 7 fleet-first food concepts) and elevated service levels.
The Waterfront (the outdoor promenade area found on other NCL ships) was reimagined and doubled in size on the PRIMA class, becoming Ocean Boulevard—an uninterrupted 360-degree outdoor promenade encompassing Deck 8. This 44,000 ft² (4090 m²) open-air complex wraps around the ship and features two large infinity pools (aft, port and starboard), Oceanwalk (glass-bottom bridges), Indulge Food Hall (NCL’s first open-air marketplace), and The Concourse (an outdoor sculpture garden with “selfie-ready” installations by Alexander Krivosheiw and David Harber).
NCL’s first 3-level Atrium (Decks 6–7–8) is fully glass-walled and characterized by panoramic sea views, futuristic architectural elements, a 3-ton crystal chandelier, full-height wall art, retail shops, and bars on each level (including Starbucks Coffee Shop, Whiskey Bar, Penrose Bar, and Casino Lounge & Bar).
The three-deck-high Aqua Park features two swimming pools, five multi-level waterslides (Ocean Loop), two racing slides (The Rush), one freefall dry slide (The Drop), and the “Tidal Wave” waterslide—the first in the fleet designed for innertube surfing. Additional amenities include four Jacuzzis (including two infinity hot tubs), a poolside bar, and an expansive sunbathing deck.
