Scenic Aria deck 4 plan (Sundeck-Pool)

The Sun Deck is accessible only by stairs. This is the best vantage point to enjoy the 360-degree countryside panorama along the Douro River cruise itinerary route.

The Navigation Bridge (on river cruise ships called “Wheelhouse”) is passenger-accessible and telescopic. It can be lowered for passing under low bridges.

Traditionally for Douro River cruise ships, Scenic Aria's top deck features a small “Vitality Pool” (combining a plunge pool and a jet pool/resistance swimming pool) and a deck games area (for playing giant chess, shuffleboard, golf putting green).

Riverview Terrace is a midship-aft observation deck - covered with a large awning and furnished with wicker chairs and wooden tables. Like the Wheelhouse, the awning is retractable and can be lowered when the boat passes under low bridges. This is also an alfresco dining venue served by dedicated staff from the River Cafe below.

The Sun Deck is a vast outdoor sunbathing and relaxation area with luxury loungers. It also has a bike station with electric-assisted bicycles. Bikes are complimentary, so passengers can use them on all guided land excursions and tours or on individual tours onshore.
