Viking Hild (built 2017 / currently under construction) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises longships. This river cruise ship is named after the valkyrie Hildr (Old Norse meaning is “battle”). Hildr (daughter of Högni and wife of Hedin) had the power to revive the dead on the battlefields. She used her power to maintain the battle between Hedin and Högni.
Viking Hild cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Hild has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Hild’s itinerary route.
