Viking Hild wiki

To/from Viking Hild boat transfers and airport meet&greet services are included in the cruise fares only when airfares are purchased through the Viking line.

Viking Hild is one of the latest generation Viking Cruises longships. This is a new (patented) Viking river cruise boat design allowing bigger accommodations without the need to shrink public areas size and to compromise the vessel's general comfort.

On March 7, 2017 was the ship's naming ceremony, which was a typical for Viking “group christening” event. The ceremony was held in Koblenz Germany and also included the longship Viking Herja. The riverboat’s godmother is Princess Stephanie Lowenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (Weingut Furst Lowenstein winery's CEO. The winery is located in Lower Franconia. The ceremonial bottle was Veuve Cliquot Champagne.
