SeaDream Yacht Club launches 2023 National Geographic Day Tours

The luxury yachting brand SeaDream Yacht Club announced its partnership with National Geographic in order to offer "National Geographic Day Tours" in a total of 11 destinations this current year, bringing key immersive experiences to SeaDream customers.

Rolling out 2023 in renowned Mediterranean destinations, such as Amalfi, Barcelona, DubrovnikCorfu, Funchal, MykonosKusadasi, Naples, Rhodes, Santorini, Sorrento, and Mallorca, the intimate experiences allow SeaDream passengers to explore their favorite destinations and sail deeper into the destination by gaining insights from the places visited.

Andreas Brynestad (the company's Executive VP) said that at SeaDream, they believed their beautiful world beckoned to be explored and experienced. That was why they were excited to bring guests closer to their Mediterranean destinations than ever before.

Accommodating between 3 and 26 passengers and available to booked SeaDream guests on a limited availability basis, each of the programs explores a distinct theme like History and Heritage, Gastronomy & Wine, Nature & Wildlife, People & Culture, and Photography. Tours are led by NatGeo-trained guides and photography guides, seasoned in the area’s history, culture, and geography.

MNAC: The Secrets of Restoration is available on select October & November 2023 Mediterranean cruises calling at Barcelona. Guests can visit the Museum Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) private restoration area, accompanied by a museum restorer.

Landscapes of Corfu - Photography Tour is available on select June & August 2023 Mediterranean cruises. Guests can visit Kaiser William II Observatory, La Grotta Jetty, Paleokastritsa Monastery, and the Corfiot countryside with a photography guide.

Cooking with the Mujo Family is available on select June, July & August cruises calling at Dubrovnik. Guests can be immersed in the daily life of a traditional Lovorno Village family.

Funchal from Past to Present - Photography Tour is available on select May & November calls. Guests can learn about the photography legacy of Madeira Island through the eyes of a photography guide.

Influential Women in Turkey - From Past to Present is available on select July & September 2023 cruises to Kusadasi (Turkey). Guests can explore powerful female figures who have influenced local Turkish society.

Mykonos Tradition & Modernity - Photography Tour is available on select June, July & September calls to the island.

A Deep Dive into Ancient Roman Life - Oplontis & Pompeii Tour is available on most August 2023 Italian Romance calls from Valletta (Malta) to Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy), as well as calls to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento, Italy.

Bluetopia: A Marine Biology Experience is available on select June & October 2023 Israel & Greece itineraries that visit Rhodes (Greece). Guests can join marine biologist/Bluetopia founder to learn about the sustainability of the marine environment and its biodiversity.

Meet the Locals in Santorini is available on select June, July, September & October 2023 itineraries that call on the isle. 2 local families of Santorini open the doors of their homes for National Geographic Day Tours travelers.
