Cunard Line announced that its RMS Queen Mary 2 will operate a 5-night "Coronation Cruise" scheduled to depart from Southampton (England UK) on May 2nd after the company was forced to cancel a roundtrip Transatlantic voyage due to technical issues.
QM2 will call at Liverpool, where Cunard Line was founded back in 1840. This will be the only port of call on the itinerary leaving roundtrip from Southampton.
Among the events onboard is a special dinner on May 6th, the day of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. The coronation will be broadcast onboard live from London UK, the company said.
