The world's 3rd-largest cruise shipowner - MSC has announced its return to the Chinese market with its glagship MSC Bellissima.

With a reverberating inaugural port call set for June 29th (2024), the Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen will play host to this maritime spectacle. This homecoming marks the unfolding of the first chapter in the company's voyage to China since the eventful year of 2020 when the pandemic cast its shadow over global travel.

In its grand revival, MSC unfurls a tapestry of possibilities, with a lineup of 8 meticulously curated voyages. Ranging from 2 to 5 nights, these expeditions will unveil a palette of destinations, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the vibrant allure of Hong Kong, the serene charm of Okinawa, the mystique of the Yaeyama Islands, and the captivating vibes of Miyakojima.

MSC Bellissima will chart a course back to Shanghai, where she will embark on international sojourns to neighboring realms. From July 31st to September 6th, voyagers will be privy to 8 summer escapades, spanning 4 to 6 nights. Ports of call include Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Osaka, Okinawa, and Shimonoseki.

In a testament to their commitment to the region, MSC Cruises casts a visionary gaze into the future. Plans are set in motion for the MSC Splendida's arrival in Shenzhen during the 4th quarter of 2024. This strategic move aligns with the company's ambition to unfurl its maritime tapestry across 3 pivotal homeports in the Chinese landscape – Shanghai, Shenzhen, and the beckoning shores of Taiwan's Keelung.
