Britain's largest cruise ship P&O Arvia makes maiden voyage to Mallorca

The upcoming visit of Britain's largest cruise ship to Mallorca is set for next month.

With a remarkable gross tonnage of about 184,700, P&O UK's Arvia stands as the most substantial vessel ever commissioned for the British cruise market.

Launched on August 27, 2022, Arvia boasts 18 decks, 2610 passenger staterooms, a normal operating capacity of 5200 tourists (max 6264 at full capacity/if 3rd and 4th berths are utilized).

Arvia is scheduled to dock in Palma on April 19th as part of a Mediterranean itinerary.

The modern vessel offers numerous onboard amenities, including 30+ bars and dining venues. The wellness complex comprises facilities such as a hydrotherapy area with a salt steam room, cold room, sauna, and experiential showers.

Arvia was officially named in Barbados on March 16, 2023, with Nicole Scherzinger presiding over the beachside ceremony. Olly Murs provided musical entertainment during the event, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, who also delivered a speech.
