RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises has released its “Solar Eclipse Voyage Collection,” a set of five sailings in 2026 and 2027 across Mediterranean and Northern European waters, timed to coincide with partial or total solar eclipses. The collection will be conducted aboard Seven Seas Grandeur, Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Navigator, and Seven Seas Voyager.

Four of the sailings are scheduled for August 12th, 2026, when passengers will see a partial eclipse with visibility ranging from approximately 80-93%. The fifth sailing, on August 2nd, 2027, is planned to follow the path of totality over the Mediterranean for a full eclipse. Each voyage will include expert-led enrichment in astronomy, physics, and space science; viewings will be staged from open decks such as the pool deck. Accessories such as themed cocktails, solar glasses, and special desserts are to be part of the onboard experience.

Among the highlighted itineraries is an 18-night voyage aboard Seven Seas Mariner departing London (Southampton) for Copenhagen on July 31st, 2026, offering eclipse visibility near 79.6% from Helsinki. Another is a 14-night sailing by Seven Seas Grandeur from Reykjavik to Oslo on August 1st, 2026, with viewing in Eidfjord at about 84.3%. A further sailing by Seven Seas Navigator on August 12th will depart from Le Havre to Barcelona over twelve nights, with eclipse visibility at Le Havre nearing 92.75%. Also on August 12th, Seven Seas Voyager will sail from Southampton to Reykjavik in 8 nights with visibility in Southampton of about 92.53%. In 2027, Seven Seas Grandeur will offer a 9-night Mediterranean voyage from Barcelona to Civitavecchia (Rome) on July 29th, promising a total eclipse at sea.

According to the company, each sailing will include a distinguished guest speaker. For example, Seven Seas Mariner will host Dr. Gary Kramer for the 2026 “Scandinavian Serenade” voyage, while Seven Seas Grandeur will serve as platform for Lt. Col. Ken Verderame during the “Mighty Fjords & Nordic Grace.” On Seven Seas Navigator during “Iberian Indulgence,” Dr. Ralph P. Pass will attend; Voyager will have former NASA Chief Engineer Frank Buzzard aboard.
