P&O Arvia set for Norwegian Fjords debut in Spring 2026

P&O Cruises will deploy Arvia, a 5,200-guest vessel, on her first voyages to the Norwegian Fjords in early 2026.

The ship, though originally designed for warm-weather voyages, will operate two week-long fjord cruises departing Southampton on March 29th and April 5th. Ports of call will include Haugesund, Stavanger, Ålesund, and Olden

After these initial sailings, Arvia is scheduled to follow a summer deployment pattern, offering 14-night itineraries in the Western Mediterranean and week-long cruises around western Europe.

The Germany-built Arvia is a sister ship to Iona and was delivered to P&O in December 2022. The vessel is among the largest to serve the British cruise market. Though her initial deployments included tropical and Mediterranean cruising, she also features enhancements suited for varied climatic conditions—such as a retractable roof over the main pool—allowing more versatility in colder or mixed-climate regions.
