HAL-Holland America Line has announced its 2027–2028 South America and Antarctica cruise season, offering a wide range of immersive itineraries tailored for exploration of remote and iconic destinations.

According to the release, the two ships allocated for the program — Zuiderdam and Oosterdam — will operate from November 2027 through March 2028. Embarkation points will include Buenos Aires (Argentina), San Antonio (Chile), and Florida ports (Fort Lauderdale and Miami).

The itineraries span durations from 14 to 31 days. Highlights include scenic cruising through features such as the Pío XI Glacier, Chilean Fjords, Glacier Alley and the Beagle Channel. Overland excursions are also featured, with visits to destinations like Machu Picchu and the Galápagos Islands

The cruise line indicated that the schedule is designed to allow travellers to unpack once and visit up to six countries on a single itinerary.

In commentary, the company’s vice president for itinerary planning and deployment underscored the intent to offer access to less-frequented regions while maintaining the line’s established standards of service and comfort.

The 2027–2028 South America and Antarctica season is open for booking, with premium accommodation packages and early-booking bonuses available.
