San Antonio is South America's largest cargo port and Chilean city in the country's Valparaíso region. The port's fishing area spans the Pacific coast north to south from Cartagena to Rocas de Santo Domingo. Puerto de San Antonio is the continent's largest seaport in terms of handled cargo.
The city is located north of the Maipo River's mouth, bordering Cartagena (north), Melipilla (east), Maipo River (south). Its population is around 90,000.
