CCL-Carnival Cruise Line announced that beginning with the 2026–2027 season, the Vista-class vessel Carnival Firenze will enter service, offering itineraries across the Caribbean, the Bahamas, New York City, and South America. The deployment of the ship reflects the line’s intent to broaden its schedule with both shorter coastal voyages and extended cultural immersion journeys.
The vessel will debut its South American program in January 2027, with sailings from Long Beach/LA, San Antonio, and Buenos Aires. Its first voyage will depart Long Beach on January 4th as part of the Carnival Journeys program, charting a 14-day course to Chile. The itinerary visits Acapulco, Callao, and ports in Ecuador. Additional sailings will bring passengers to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego (Chilean Fjords), concluding in Buenos Aires.
The South American program ends on February 2nd. with a 15-day repositioning voyage from Buenos Aires to Miami. That sailing is planned to coincide with the Carnival festival in Rio de Janeiro before proceeding northward through selected Caribbean destinations and ending in PortMiami.
From late February 2027, Carnival Firenze will operate a spring program out of Miami. These 4- to 7-night voyages will cover the Bahamas, the Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean, and Central America. The itineraries are to include Oranjestad, Fort-de-France, George Town, and exclusive ports such as Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key, and Isla Tropicale on the Honduran coast.
In May 2027, the ship will reposition to New York City, beginning a series of summer sailings from Manhattan to the Caribbean and the Bahamas. While the final schedule has yet to be confirmed, the company has indicated that these will be roundtrip voyages designed to serve passengers on the East Coast with a mix of cruise lengths and destinations.
Carnival stated that the varied deployment of Carnival Firenze—across Long Beach, Miami, and New York—demonstrates the line’s commitment to delivering a broad spectrum of itineraries. The line emphasized that the program has been designed to balance cultural discovery, coastal scenery, adventure, and leisure, ensuring a comprehensive experience for the 2026–2027 season.
