NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line has released its winter 2027-2028 deployment schedule, detailing a global series of voyages and the reinstatement of its Free at Sea Plus package with expanded inclusions. The deployment spans more than 370 sailings scheduled from September 2027 through April 2028 and calls at 144 distinct destinations in 47 countries, with a concentration on regions such as the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Bermuda, the Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Itineraries vary in length from brief 2-day passages to extended voyages of up to 22 days, and the programme has been structured to provide increased time in port, including an average port stay of about 9.5 hours, a series of late departures, and multiple overnight calls to facilitate deeper exploration ashore.
In an operational shift, the winter schedule will position two of the line’s Prima Class vessels—Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva—to homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the first time, each executing week-long Southern Caribbean circuits between November 2027 and April 2028. A number of North American homeports are included in the deployment, with multiple ships operating from Florida ports such as Miami, Port Canaveral and Jacksonville, offering a mixture of short island escapes and longer Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises. The East Coast presence is further extended with Norwegian Pearl based at the Port of Philadelphia, sailing Bermuda, Bahamas and Caribbean routes with overnight stays at select anchorages. Other deployment elements consist of Western Caribbean voyages from Gulf Coast cities and roundtrip Mexican Riviera sailings from Los Angeles. Asian and Southeast Asian voyages are assigned to Norwegian Jade, while Norwegian Spirit is scheduled for its fifth consecutive season in Australia and New Zealand, with itineraries ranging from 8 to 21 days and overnight stays in key regional ports.
The Free at Sea Plus offering has been reinstated by the company as an optional enhancement that provides a suite of amenities added onto the standard Free at Sea inclusions. This enhanced package extends benefits such as unlimited premium beverages, unlimited streaming Wi-Fi, Starbucks® drinks, bottled water, a selection of wine and champagne from the line’s signature collection, and discounts on specialty dining, in addition to unlimited open bar access at Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island destination in the Bahamas. The package is available for sailings departing on or after February 1st, 2026, and represents an effort to streamline onboard and ashore inclusions for passengers.
