Marella Cruises has confirmed the headline entertainment for its 30th anniversary sailings, with a programme of live performances and onboard appearances scheduled across its 5-ship fleet from May 1st, 2026. The commemorative cruises will feature performances by Fleur East, Boyzlife and La Voix, alongside live question-and-answer sessions with Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards and Anthea Turner.

Marella Discovery 2 will serve as a focal point for the celebrations in Palma. On this sailing, Fleur East is scheduled to perform a selection of well-known tracks, including Uptown Funk and Sax. The itinerary will also include an onboard discussion with Edwards, during which he is expected to reflect on his experience at the 1988 Winter Olympics and his subsequent public profile.

Also departing from Palma, Marella Explorer will host a performance by Boyzlife, the collaboration between former Boyzone and Westlife members Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden. The duo will present material drawn from the repertoires of both groups. This sailing will likewise feature an appearance by Edwards, who will outline his career and the events that led to his status as one of Britain’s most recognisable Olympians.

Marella Voyager is scheduled to stage a shipwide anniversary programme headlined by La Voix, whose performances will centre on vocal-led musical numbers and established stage material familiar to television audiences. Separately, Marella Discovery, sailing from Limassol, Cyprus, will include a live session with Anthea Turner, focusing on her broadcasting career across a range of British television programmes including Blue Peter, GMTV and Wish You Were Here.

Each of the 7-night anniversary cruises will feature a coordinated onboard events schedule, including a dedicated birthday gala, themed parties reflecting the mid-1990s, quayside celebrations, trivia centred on the decade, and curated television content from the period. The cruise line has indicated that further entertainment announcements for Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Discovery are expected in the coming months.

Marella Cruises’ chief executive Chris Hackney has stated that the anniversary programme is intended to appeal to both repeat and first-time guests, combining the line’s all-inclusive product with entertainment designed to reference the year of its founding. He noted that the sailings aim to reflect the brand’s emphasis on integrated service while acknowledging three decades of operation in the UK market. Fleur East has also confirmed her participation, noting that she previously performed aboard Marella Discovery 2 at the vessel’s launch and is returning as part of the anniversary programme.

Marella Cruises continues to operate on an all-inclusive basis, with gratuities and service charges included in the fare. Prices for the 30th anniversary sailings start from GBP 1,305 per person, based on the 30th Birthday itinerary aboard Marella Explorer.
