P&O Cruises has announced that British TV entertainer and magician Stephen Mulhern will headline a summer residency at the Limelight Club aboard Iona in 2026.
The residency will feature a new production titled Stephen Mulhern’s Live & Unbelievable!, presented during consecutive 7-night Norwegian fjords sailings and a 7-night Spain and France itinerary operating from Southampton throughout July and August.
The scheduled departures include Norwegian fjords cruises departing July 25th and August 1st, followed by a Spain and France voyage departing August 8th. During each sailing, Mulhern is expected to perform across 4 evenings in the Limelight Club venue, presenting a programme centred on close-up illusions, sleight-of-hand performances, comedy, and audience participation.
In addition to the evening shows, family-oriented workshops are planned on one sea day during each cruise. The sessions will introduce guests to basic magic techniques and demonstrations using material connected to the Unbelievable show kits.
Paul Ludlow (Carnival UK & P&O's President) stated that Mulhern’s residency aligned closely with the company’s focus on delivering entertainment experiences designed for a broad range of guests. He noted that the combination of live performances and interactive workshops would provide a distinctive addition to the onboard programme aboard Iona.
Mulhern said the residency would mark the debut of the new production at sea and described the Limelight Club as a setting well suited to direct audience interaction. He added that the opportunity to combine stage performances with practical workshops for families was expected to create an engaging programme throughout the voyages.
The Limelight Club on MS Iona is an adults-only, cabaret-style entertainment venue paired with a dining experience and remains one of the ship’s principal evening attractions. It is located on the Gala Deck (forward on the 6th floor).
