Princess Cruises has opened bookings for its 2028 Alaska programme, offering 185 departures across 14 itineraries aboard 8 ships, together with a range of cruisetours and land-based stays at the company's wilderness lodges.
The 2028 season will feature sailings ranging from four to 16 days aboard Star Princess, Discovery Princess, Emerald Princess, Royal Princess, Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Island Princess and Ruby Princess. Cruises will depart from Seattle, Vancouver, Anchorage (Whittier), San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Passengers will have the opportunity to visit 16 Alaskan destinations, including Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, while itineraries also include scenic cruising through four of the region's best-known glacier areas: Glacier Bay National Park, Hubbard Glacier, College Fjord, and Endicott Arm with Dawes Glacier.
The cruise line is also offering a selection of cruisetours that combine voyages with inland travel, including stays at Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge and Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge.
Princess Cruises stated that it has been operating in Alaska for nearly six decades and continues to focus on providing comprehensive holiday programmes that combine glacier cruising, wildlife encounters and cultural experiences with rail journeys and wilderness lodge stays. The company noted that its 2028 season is designed to offer travellers an integrated Alaska experience, allowing guests to explore both the state's coastal waterways and its interior destinations through a combination of cruise and land-based itineraries.
