DCL-Disney Cruise Line will return to New York City in autumn 2027 for the first time since 2023, as part of an expanded programme covering the Caribbean, Panama, Canada, Mexico and Southeast Asia. The new deployment also marks the first time three Wish-class ships will be based at Port Canaveral simultaneously.
Bookings for the new itineraries will open to eligible Castaway Club members from August 31st, 2026, followed by general sales on September 8th.
The Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 after completing its first European season. The ship will operate 7 cruises ranging from four to 7 nights, including five itineraries with calls at Bermuda. Three of those voyages will feature an extended Bermuda stay.
The New York programme will also restore Disney Cruise Line’s New England and Atlantic Canada sailings after almost 4 years. Fall foliage itineraries will include calls at Boston, St. John in New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Following its New York deployment, Disney Wish will reposition south on a 5-night voyage to San Juan, with a call at Bermuda. From San Juan, the ship will operate a 7-night Southern Caribbean itinerary visiting Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire and Dominica, before repositioning to Port Canaveral on a 4-night cruise calling at both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
San Juan will receive additional Disney Cruise Line capacity through the Disney Fantasy. The ship will operate a 7-night Southern Caribbean sailing in December 2027, followed by a 5-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary ending in Fort Lauderdale. Two further 7-night Southern Caribbean cruises in late April and May 2028 will include destinations such as Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados and Antigua.
The Disney Magic will operate two 14-night Panama Canal repositioning cruises. The November 2027 voyage from San Diego to Galveston will make a maiden call at Fuerte Amador near Panama City, while the March 2028 return voyage from Galveston to San Diego will include a first call at Colón on the Caribbean side of the canal.
Port Canaveral will see several changes to its Disney fleet deployment. Disney Destiny will begin homeporting there in November 2027, operating 3- to 7-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises after opening the autumn season from Fort Lauderdale.
Disney Wish will move to Port Canaveral after completing its New York and San Juan programme, offering three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. Disney Treasure will continue its seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean programme from the port, with itineraries including Tortola and Falmouth in Jamaica, alongside selected 6- and 8-night cruises.
Disney Dream will operate 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral before transferring to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027. Disney Fantasy will also operate from Port Canaveral between September and November 2027 before moving to San Juan and subsequently Fort Lauderdale. From Florida, Fantasy will introduce an 8-night Bermuda sailing combining the destination with calls at Disney’s two Bahamian destinations.
On the US West Coast, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will operate 3- to 7-night cruises from San Diego through early November 2027. Wonder will remain in San Diego throughout the season, visiting Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island. After its Panama Canal transit, Magic will return to Galveston for 4- to 7-night cruises, including selected 7-night Bahamian itineraries calling at both Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay.
In Southeast Asia, Disney Adventure will continue operating 3- and 4-night cruises from Singapore between September and December 2027. Selected itineraries beginning December 31st, 2026, will add Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port of call.
Disney Cruise Line will also continue its seasonal programmes at sea. Halloween on the High Seas will return from September 2027 with themed entertainment and activities, while Very Merrytime cruises will operate during November and December with seasonal entertainment, decorations and visits from Santa.
