One Ocean Expeditions (OOE) announced new itineraries and programs for Antarctica 2020-2021 winter season of RCGS Resolute. The offerings come ahead of the company’s celebration of the vessel’s 1-year anniversary cruise under OOE brand. The new Antarctic season introduces new itineraries that provide more time in a destination and a wider range of voyages.

Over the last couple of years, One Ocean Expeditions ‘fly’ cruises have become a mainstay of Antarctic programming. They range from the popular Quest for the Antarctic Circle offering direct private air charter from Punta Arenas to Antarctica in just 2.5 hours, to Ultimate Antarctica that encompasses the Weddell Sea. In 2018, OOE launched private air charter from Valparaiso (Santiago) to Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, saving passengers 4.5 hours in flight and time in transit.

Experiential cruises with a focus on ocean literacy and Marine Mammals are well timed in February-March, offering the popular programming of One Ocean Expeditions featuring Dr Ari Friedlaender and California Ocean Alliance. Beginning and ending in Ushuaia, the cruises provide passengers with opportunities to participate together with world-leading cetacean experts contributing to the creation of Antarctica's marine protected areas.

Additional highlights of the line's 2020-2021 program include an extended 19-night cruise to the Falklands, South Georgia Island, and Antarctica by way of King George Island, Antarctica, and Stanley. Offered from December through to early February, it provides more availability to the ever-popular route.
