The award-winning luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways celebrated on Friday, July 19, the christening of its newest riverboat, AmaMora (156-passenger ship).

Co-Founders Kristin Karst and Rudi Schreiner joined Mayor Adalbert Dornbusch of Lahnstein, Germany and Libbie Rice - Godmother and president of Ensemble Travel Group, for festivities officially commemorating the line's 3rd new ship launched during 2019 season.

AmaMora will sail 7-night cruises between Amsterdam and Basel on Rhine River, while recent launches of AmaDouro and AmaMagna are deployed, respectively, on Douri River (in Portugal) and Danube River.

Following the speeches, signing of a guestbook and a blessing of the vessel, Godmother Rice officially christened AmaMora with the traditional breaking of a champagne bottle on the hull of the ship.
