Viking Cruises announced that from 2020, the company will expand its France riverboat fleet with the launch of 4 new Viking-Longship class boats exclusively cruising the 8-day "Paris and The Heart of Normandy" itinerary on Seine River in Northern France.

Featuring identical staterooms, common areas, and interior design, the four 135-m long newbuilds will be named Viking Kari, Viking Fjorgyn, Viking Radgrid, and Viking Skaga.

With customized hulls and engines built to navigate on Seine River, the smaller 168-passenger vessels take travellers deeper into Paris City, docking directly in downtown (at Port de Grenelle) with views of the Eiffel Tower.
