Virgin Voyages named its 3rd cruise ship, scheduled for delivery on July 1, 2022, "Resilient Lady".

The 110,000 GT, 2770-passenger ship will enter service in the Mediterranean, offering a couple of 7-night itineraries from Piraeus-Athens Greece.

The company said that the introduction of the new liner (currently under construction) arrived on International Women’s Day, which was symbolic of the spirit of Virgin’s “Lady Ships” and was "in celebration of women and their achievements, strength, leadership and resilience."

The itineraries of Resilient Lady include the “Greek Isles Itinerary,” which will call at Santorini, Rhodes, Crete (Heraklion), and have an overnight in Mykonos. The Adriatic itinerary visits Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Argostoli.

Virgin Voyages is a new travel brand with plans to operate in the USA, UK and Europe. Virgin's first ship, Scarlet Lady, was christened in February 2020, shortly before most cruising was shut down due to the pandemic.
