  Port Map

Fort Myers Beach is a port town located on Estero Island in Florida USA (Lee County) with population around 6,000. The town was incorporated in 1995.

Estero Island is connected to mainland Florida (Bonita Springs in Lee County) via the Bonita Beach Causeway (1965-opened, 4 mi / 6,5 km long bridge over Estero Bay) while Matanzas Pass Bridge connects Estero with San Carlos Island (to the northeast).

The Bonita Beach Causeway actually consists of four bridges that traverse Florida's barrier islands and carries Road 865 (Estero Blvd). The Estero Boulevard begins on Little Hickory Island, then heads north (crossing Big Hickory Pass Bridge and landing on Big Hickory Island), then crosses New Pass Bridge (landing on Long Key), continues on Lovers Key, crosses Little Carlos Pass Bridge (Black Key), then Big Carlos Pass Bridge (Estero Island) and ends in Fort Myers Beach.

As cruise port, Fort Myers Beach was introduced with the 2023 schedule of the ACL-American Cruise Lines catamaran ship American Glory.
