Havoysund is a port town in Finnmark county, Norway. The 0.64-km2 (160-acres) village has population around 1,000 (density 1,57 inhabitants per km2). Havoya Island lies off the coast of Porsanger Peninsula with Hjelmsoya Island to the north, Masoya to the east, and Rolvsoya to the west.

The town is located on Havoya Island, and is connected to mainland Norway via the Havoysund Bridge (Road 889). Havoysund Bridge has length 293 m (960 ft) and was opened in 1986.

The nearest airport is the Lakselv Airport - approx 104 km (65 mi) to the southeast. The airport serves regularly scheduled domestic flights (to Oslo only).

Havoya Island has a total area of approx 8 km2 (3 mi2), with length 6,3 km (4 mi) and width 2 km (1,2 mi). Its highest elevation point (Havoygavlen) is 285 m / 935 ft. Near Havoya are located the islands Hjelmsoya (north), Masoya (east) and Rolvsoya (west).

Havoysund is on the island's southern coast. This is a small fishing town (population around 1,000). There is a boatyard, petrol station, fish processing factories, doctors, Havoysund Church, sports hall, various shops and museums. The town boasts a varied architecture. All the way along the beach there are same-design houses ("gjenreisingshus") built after WW2 (1939-1945). More houses (up in the valley) were built in the following decades.

Havoysund is one of the Hurtigruten ports along the "Express Route" (Norwegian Coastal Express). This is a regularly scheduled ferry and cruise itinerary in Norway, between the turnaround ports Bergen (southmost) and Kirkenes (northmost). Havoysund is the Hurtigruten's port visited between Hammerfest and Honningsvag.
