Isle of Colonsay is one of Scotland's Inner Hebrides Islands (Argyll and Bute). It is located to the north of Islay and to the south of Mull. Colonsay island has a total area of approx 16 ml2 (41 km2) and population around 120.
Colonsay island is served by the Ro-Ro ferry ship Clansman operating dedicated and regularly scheduled car and passenger ferry services to the Inner Hebrides Islands Barra, Coll, Colonsay and Tiree. Departures are roundtrip from Oban (resort town in Argyll and Bute, mainland Scotland).
