Polesella is a Po River cruise port and town in Italy's Rovigo province (Veneto region), located approx 70 km (43 ml) southwest of Venice and 11 km (7 ml) south of Rovigo. The town covers an area of approx 17 km2 (6 ml2) and has population around 4,000.
In 1509, Polesella was the location of the battle between Ferrara troops and the fleet of Venice. The town is home to the 16th-century patrician residence Palazzo Grimani and Villa Morosini (16th–17th centuries).
