Torretta-Legnago is a Po River cruise port and town in Italy's Verona province (Veneto region, north-eastern Italy) with a population of around 25,000. Legnago is located approx 45 km (28 mi) from Verona (Veneto's capital city) and also close to Mantua, Rovigo, Vicenza, Padua, and Ferrara.
The town developed and greatly expanded as an important Adige Riverport since the 10th-century after downtown's canal was linked to the waterway. Legnago's best-known tourist attractions include San Martino Vescovo Duomo (19th-century cathedral), Campanile di San Rocco (17th-century), Chiesa dell'Assunta (Assumption Church, early-20th-century), Chiesa di San Salvaro (12th-century church), Santuario Della Madonna Della Salute (Sanctuary of Our Lady of Health, 18th-century church), city walls (early-16th-century / once the town was fully-fortified).
As cruise port, Torretta-Legnago was included in the 2020 schedule of one of Europe's largest river cruise companies - CroisiEurope. The next table shows Michelangelo ship's 6-day itinerary between homeports Mantua and Venice, with prices from ~USD 1300 per person (double occupancy).
