AmaSerena cabins review

Most AmaSerena cabins feature French Balconies, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a railing. The ship offers a total of 9 cabin categories, each accommodating a maximum of 2 guests.

One of the standout features of AmaWaterways' newer ships is the "Twin Balcony" staterooms. These spacious accommodations include both a traditional French balcony (also known as a "Juliet balcony") and a separate step-out veranda, providing flexibility in all weather conditions. All Suites feature the Twin Balcony design.

Below is an overview of AmaSerena's stateroom features, amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style queen or twin beds (200 x 160 cm) with luxury bedding, ample under-bed storage for suitcases, generous closet space, two long-range portable audio devices (for use during AmaWaterways tours and excursions), individual climate control, and both 220V and 110V power outlets.
  • Each cabin includes a private bathroom with a WC, sink, glass-door shower, hairdryer, premium bath products, and terry bathrobes. Additional features include a telephone, personal safe, and daily replenished complimentary bottled water. "Twin Balcony" cabins also have a mini-bar. The Owner’s Suite (#302) additionally offers a sitting area with a sofa and a large bathroom with a bathtub.
  • HD flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels, movies on demand, and an infotainment system that includes complimentary in-room Internet and a live bridge camera view.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the ship.
  • Complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, beer, spirits) and soft drinks are served during lunch and dinner. Complimentary bicycles are available for use on shore excursions.
  • All AmaWaterways shore excursions are included in the cruise fare and feature walking and biking tours guided by professional local guides. To enhance the experience, guests can choose from three tour pace options: “Gentle Walkers” (leisurely pace), “Active Walkers” (for more energetic exploration), and “Late Starter” (for those who prefer a later start).
