AmaVenita cabins review

Most AmaVenita cabins are French Balcony rooms, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a railing. There are nine cabin categories available, with a maximum occupancy of two guests per cabin.

One of the standout features of AmaWaterways’ newly designed ships is the inclusion of “Twin Balcony” staterooms. These spacious accommodations combine a traditional French balcony (also known as a “Juliet balcony”) with a separate step-out veranda, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors in any weather. All Suites onboard feature this twin-balcony design.

Below is a review of AmaVenita staterooms, including furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style queen or twin beds (200 x 160 cm) with luxury bedding, ample under-bed storage for luggage, generous closet space, two long-range portable audio devices (used on AmaWaterways tours and excursions), individual climate control, and both 220V and 110V power outlets.
  • Each cabin includes a private bathroom with a toilet, sink, glass-door shower, hairdryer, premium bath amenities, and terry bathrobes. Additional features include a telephone, personal safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily. “Twin Balcony” cabins also include a mini-bar. The Owner’s Suite (#302) offers a separate sitting area with a sofa and a large bathroom with a bathtub.
  • HD flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels, movies on demand, and an infotainment system that includes complimentary in-room Internet and a real-time bridge cam view.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the ship.
  • Complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, spirits, beer) and soft drinks are served during lunch and dinner. Complimentary bicycles are available for use during shore excursions.
  • All AmaWaterways shore excursions are included, featuring guided walking and biking tours led by professional local guides. To enhance the river cruise experience, AmaVenita offers three types of excursion groups to suit different activity levels: “Gentle Walkers” for leisurely touring, “Active Walkers” for more energetic exploration, and “Late Starter” for those who prefer a later start to their day.
