AmaPrima cabins review

Most AmaPrima cabins are French Balcony staterooms, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a railing. There are 9 cabin categories in total, each accommodating a maximum of 2 guests.

One of the standout features of AmaWaterways' modern ships is the "Twin Balcony" staterooms. In addition to the traditional French (Juliet) balcony, these spacious accommodations include a separate step-out veranda for use in all weather conditions. All Suites on AmaPrima are equipped with twin balconies.

Below is a review of AmaPrima staterooms, highlighting furniture, included amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style queen or twin beds (200 x 160 cm) with luxury bedding, ample space under the beds for suitcases, generous closet space, two long-range portable audio devices (for use during AmaWaterways tours and excursions), individual climate control, and dual voltage outlets (220V / 110V).
  • All staterooms include a private bathroom with WC, sink, glass-door shower, hairdryer, premium bath amenities, and terry bathrobes. Additional features include a phone, personal safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily. All "Twin Balcony" cabins include a mini-bar. The Owner’s Suite (#302) offers extra space with a sitting area, sofa, and a large bathroom with a bathtub.
  • HD flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels, movies-on-demand, and an infotainment system offering complimentary in-room Internet access and a live bridge cam view.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access is available shipwide.
  • During lunch and dinner, complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, spirits, beer) and soft drinks are served. Complimentary bicycles are also available for use during shore excursions.
  • All AmaWaterways shore excursions are included in the fare, offering walking and biking tours led by professional local guides. To enhance the excursion experience, AmaPrima offers three different activity levels: “Gentle Walkers” (leisurely paced), “Active Walkers” (for more energetic touring), and “Late Starters” (for guests who prefer a later start).
