Carnival Sunrise cabins and suites

Carnival Sunrise cruise ship features a total of 46 wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers) and 89 Cloud 9 Spa cabins (including 22 Inside and 70 Balcony). The ship offers 34 different cabin categories.

Each of the two Captain's Suites features a master bedroom (2 twin beds convertible to a king, Pullman bed), dressing area (vanity, large walk-in closet), large bathroom, separate living room (double sofa bed, coffee table, desk, 2 armchairs), additional bathroom (shower), fridge, and mini-bar.

Suites (Captain, Grand, Ocean) include 2 twin beds (convertible to king), dressing area (walk-in closet, vanity table, chair), private bathroom (WC, shower/whirlpool tub, bidet, double sinks). Some GS and OS suites offer a single or double sofa bed for a 3rd/4th guest.

All balcony cabins feature private balconies with sliding glass doors (table, patio chairs, clear glass railing). Premium Vista Balcony cabins (category 9C, aft) have wrap-around balconies and are located on the ship's corners.

Cloud 9 Spa cabins provide exclusive access to Spa facilities on Deck 10. These cabins are categorized as Spa Suite (SS), Spa Balcony (8S, 8T), and Spa Inside (4S). Included amenities and services (for two guests per stateroom) are: unlimited Thermal Suite access, two complimentary fitness classes (Yoga or Pilates), two metabolism tests, one Thermal Suite Scrub Kit, bathrobes, slippers, deluxe Elemis bath products, priority Spa reservations (by 6 pm on embarkation day), and port-day Spa treatment discounts (20% off 1st, 30% off 2nd, and 40% off 3rd treatment).

Scenic Oceanview cabins, located on Lido Deck 9, feature floor-to-ceiling windows, separate sitting area (vanity desk, coffee table), twin beds (convertible), sofa bed, and upper Pullman bed. Oceanview cabins have a picture window and twin beds that don’t convert to king when upper beds are in use. Some also include sofa and/or Pullman beds for additional guests.

Inside cabins with windows have either Porthole Windows (PT, decks 1 and 2) or Picture Windows (category 6B, rooms 2128-2129 with obstructed views). Some Interior cabins include sofas and/or upper Pullman beds for extra passengers. Small Inside cabins feature bunk beds (upper/lower Pullmans), living area (vanity, chair), and bathroom (shower).

All staterooms on Carnival Sunrise come with standard complimentary amenities: living area (vanity, seating), smart HDTV (with infotainment system, Internet access, on-demand movies, bookings, and room service), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (in the closet), hairdryer, en-suite bathroom (WC, shower, single-sink vanity, bathrobes, amenity basket replenished on request), Carnival Comfort beds, beach towels, mini-bar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, and 24-hour complimentary room service. Bibles (Gideon version) are available upon request.

Carnival's Sail & Sign card system acts as both stateroom key and onboard credit account. Charges for purchases and gratuities are posted to personal accounts. Cash is accepted only in the casino. All passengers, including minors, receive their cards upon boarding. Balances can be checked at Guest Services or via the smart TV in the cabin.

The interactive TV system enables ordering of room service, movie rentals, and account review. Approximately 25 movies are available on-demand ($5 per movie; adult films $10). Free programming includes ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CNN (Domestic, International, Español), TCM, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, TNT, TBS, and two movie channels (family and PG-13). Carnival-themed channels include Fun Finds TV, Cruise Director, Fun Aboard, Park West Art, Shore Tours, Ship Position, live webcams, Audible Funtimes, Photo, and Music. ESPN and ESPN 2 are shown only at the Sports Bar and Seaside Theatre. All TV ports are disabled to prevent connections with personal devices.

Bathroom amenities may vary; guests are encouraged to bring personal toiletries. Samples may include toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, lotion, razor, and antacids. A wall-mounted dispenser provides liquid soap and shampoo. Electrical outlets are located at the desk/vanity (one 110V US-style and one 220V European-style). Bathroom outlets are for electric razors only.

Cabin beds are custom-made in Europe for Carnival. The set includes New Generation Pillows (100% cotton), hypoallergenic duvets, high-quality cotton linens, and 8-inch spring mattresses branded as "Carnival Comfort." Non-allergenic alternatives include polyester blankets, sheets, pillowcases, and cotton pillows. Trundle beds do not feature Carnival Comfort mattresses.

Carnival-logoed beach towels are provided in each cabin and may be taken ashore. Additional towels can be purchased for $22. Bathrobes are available in all suites and Cloud 9 Spa cabins, or upon request during turndown service. Robes are sold for $49 (adult) and $24 (children).

Lifejackets are located in all cabins and are for emergency use only. Sizes available include adult, child, and infant. Safes are located in closets and can be accessed via magnetic stripe cards (preferably expired or non-financial cards). Some safes use a personal code keypad. Crew can access safes if necessary.

Mini-bars are stocked with premium liquors ($6–$9.25), beer ($6.25), energy drinks ($5), sodas ($2), and bottled water ($3.75). In-cabin babysitting is not offered. Complimentary cribs are available upon request. High chairs and booster seats are provided in Main Dining Rooms.

Smoking is prohibited in all cabins and on balconies. Designated smoking areas include the Casino, Casino Bar (cigarettes and e-cigarettes), Deck 3 port side (forward to aft), and Deck 10 (starboard and port near Seaside Theatre) for cigars and pipes.

Funville@Sea is a complimentary intranet service offering schedules, menus, deck plans, daily newsletters, shore excursion details, weather, cruise news, and onboard messaging. It is accessible via cabin TVs and FunHub stations throughout the ship.

Current gratuities are USD 12.95 per person per day for standard cabins and USD 13.95 for suites. Suite guests receive priority embarkation, debarkation, and tendering; priority main dining room reservations; complimentary bottled water; one complimentary bag of laundry; and enhanced turndown service.

Since 2017, guests can customize housekeeping service preferences (morning, evening, or both) and select from a menu of additional items (e.g., extra pillows, blankets, hangers). Bed linen change frequency can also be specified. If no preferences are selected, rooms are serviced twice daily by default.

Cruise Ship Room Service

In 2016, Carnival introduced a 24/7 for-fee room service menu fleetwide. Select items remain complimentary, including sandwiches, salads, desserts, beverages, and Continental Breakfast. Paid items ($1.50 to $6) include shrimp, sushi, pizza, quesadillas, cheesesteaks, chicken wings/tenders, and fries. Bar drinks are charged at regular prices.
