Carnival Miracle cabins review
The Carnival cruise ship Miracle has a total of 17 wheelchair-accessible cabins (for disabled passengers) and no Spa cabins (with exclusive access to Spa Carnival facilities). The total number of cabin categories is 28.
Connecting rooms ("family cabins") are located on decks 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The list of connecting cabin grades includes: 2 beds (VS, 4B, 4C, 7A), 2-3 beds (8A, 8D, 8E, 8M), 2-4 beds (8J), and 2-3-4 beds (8B, 8C, 8K, 8F). Handicap staterooms (17 total) are available in the following categories: GS-Grand Suite (1), Balcony (8), Oceanview (4), and Interior (4).
Below is a review of Carnival Miracle staterooms in terms of amenities, furniture, and complimentary services:
Carnival Miracle Suites (Grand, Vista, Ocean, Junior) feature two twin beds (convertible to king), dressing area (walk-in closet, vanity table, chair), private bathroom (toilet, shower, whirlpool bathtub, bidet, double sinks). Some GS-OS suites have a single or double sofa bed and/or upper bed for a third or fourth guest. Vista Suites are located aft and feature larger wraparound balconies.
All Balcony accommodations include a private balcony with sliding glass doors (table, patio chairs, sun loungers, railing with clear glass panel). Premium Vista Balcony cabins, located at the ship’s aft corners, offer the same suite amenities, including a wraparound balcony. Extended Balcony cabins are in four grades – 8N, 8M, 8K, and 8J – and have 50% larger balconies, three closets, and full bathrooms with showers. Some 8N-8M rooms include a sofa bed for a third guest, while some 8K-8J rooms include a sofa and/or upper bunk bed for third/fourth guests.
Oceanview cabins feature a large picture window and two twin beds (convertible to queen), with some offering a sofa and/or Pullman bed for a third or fourth guest.
Inside cabins with windows (category 4K) have obstructed views and feature sliding glass (French) doors. Some rooms include a sofa and/or Pullman bed for a third or fourth guest. Standard Interior staterooms may include an upper bunk bed for a third guest. Small Inside cabins have upper/lower Pullman beds, a living area (vanity, chair), and a bathroom with a shower. Some also have a sofa bed for a third guest.
All Carnival Miracle staterooms include standard complimentary amenities: living area (vanity, seating), smart HDTV (infotainment system with Internet, on-demand movies, booking/reservations, and room service ordering), direct-dial phone, electronic safe and lifejackets (in the closet), hairdryer, en-suite bathroom (toilet, shower, single sink vanity, bathrobes, amenity basket replenished upon request), custom-made beds (Carnival Comfort Bed System), beach towels, mini-bar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, and 24-hour room service. Gideon Bibles are available upon request.
Bathroom amenities vary by cruise, so it's recommended to bring personal supplies. Complimentary samples may include toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, body lotion, razor, and antacids. A wall-mounted dispenser provides liquid soap and shampoo. Power outlets are located at the desk/vanity – one 110V (US standard, 3-prong) and one 220V (European standard). The bathroom's two-pin plug is suitable for electric razors only.
The Carnival Sail & Sign card (cashless onboard account) also functions as the stateroom key. This credit system allows guests to charge onboard purchases and gratuities directly to a personal account. Cash is accepted only in the casino. Cards are issued to all passengers (including minors) upon boarding. Account balances can be checked at the Guest Services desk or through the in-cabin smart TV.
The interactive TV system allows guests to purchase on-demand movies, order room service, and check their Sail & Sign account status. The on-demand library includes approximately 25 movies, priced at USD 5 each, with adult content films costing USD 10. Complimentary in-cabin programming includes ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CNN (Domestic, International, Español), TCM (classic movies), Boomerang, Cartoon Network, TNT, and TBS. Two movie channels play films every three hours starting at noon – one with all-time favorites (PG-13 rated), and the other with family favorites (G/PG-rated). Carnival-themed channels include Fun Finds TV, Cruise Director, Fun Aboard, Park West Art, Shore Tours, Ship Position, live cam views, Audible Funtimes, Photo, and Music. ESPN and ESPN2 are shown only on large screens in the Sports Bar and Seaside Theatre. All TV connection ports are disabled, preventing the use of personal devices (e.g., cameras, DVDs, USBs, iPods, gaming consoles).
The new Carnival beds are exclusively manufactured in Europe and include custom New Generation pillows (100% cotton), hypoallergenic duvet, deluxe satin-striped sheets and pillowcases, and 8-inch (20 cm) spring mattresses (Carnival Comfort trademark). Non-allergenic bedding is available, including polyester blankets and cotton-polyester sheets and pillowcases. Note: Trundle beds do not feature Carnival Comfort mattresses.
Carnival-branded beach towels are provided in each cabin for use ashore and can also be purchased for $22. Bathrobes (two) are included in all suites, and additional bathrobes are available upon request. In other cabin categories, bathrobes are available upon request during evening turndown service. Bathrobes are also available for purchase – $49 for adult sizes and $24 for children's sizes (2–4 and 6–8 years old).
Lifejackets are for emergency use only (not for use at pools) and are located in each cabin's closet. Available sizes include adult, child, and infant. Each stateroom safe (also in the closet) measures approximately 10x9x8 inches (25x23x20 cm) and can be accessed with any magnetic stripe card. It's recommended to use an expired or rewards card rather than a valid credit card or driver's license. Some safes use keypad access. Ship security can open safes if needed.
All cabin and suite mini-bars are stocked with premium liquors ($6–9.25), beer ($6.25), energy drinks ($5), soft drinks ($2), and bottled water ($3.75). In-cabin babysitting is not available. Complimentary cribs are provided upon request. Complimentary high chairs and booster seats are available in the Main Dining Rooms.
Smoking is prohibited in all cabins and on balconies. Designated smoking areas on Carnival Miracle include Frankenstein’s Lab Nightclub (except on the dance floor), designated Casino and Casino Bar areas, and outdoor smoking zones on Deck 3 starboard (midship), Deck 10 starboard (forward), and Deck 11 starboard (forward/midship/aft). This includes cigarettes and electronic cigarettes; cigars and tobacco pipes are permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
Funville@Sea is a complimentary intranet service offering onboard information such as event schedules, menus, deck maps, Fun Times newspaper, FunAshore tour guides, cruise news, weather updates, and a social network to connect with other passengers. It is accessible via the infotainment system in all cabins and at FunHub stations throughout the ship.
Current daily gratuities are USD 12.95 per person for standard cabins and USD 13.95 for suites. Suite perks include priority embarkation/debarkation/tendering, main dining room reservations, complimentary bottled water in the cabin, one complimentary bag of laundry per cruise, and enhanced turndown service.
Since 2017, Carnival Cruise Line has offered guests the option to customize steward service – morning, evening, or both. Guests may also request additional amenities such as bathrobes, extra pillows, blankets, or hangers, and can specify how often linens are changed. Preferences can be selected using a service menu card in the stateroom. If no selections are made, accommodations will be serviced twice daily by default.
For detailed stateroom furniture layouts, refer to the Carnival Miracle cabin plans above.
