Celebrity Millennium cabins review

Follows the review of Celebrity Millennium staterooms, including amenities, furniture, and complimentary services:

All Celebrity Millennium Suites come with bonus amenities such as 24-hour butler service (for priority check-in, luggage packing/unpacking, shoeshine, full en-suite dining with an expanded room-service menu, afternoon tea, evening hors d'oeuvres), complimentary espresso and cappuccino, dining reservations and seating preferences, welcome gifts (champagne, fruits, flowers, Celebrity tote bag), and iPod docking station. Additional perks for Suite guests include complimentary premium beverages, dining at all specialty restaurants, unlimited Internet, a complimentary mini-bar (water, soft drinks, beers), premium Bulgari bath amenities, access to the exclusive Suite-only lounge (Michael’s Club with concierge service), and a Suite-only restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

All balcony and suite accommodations feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening to a private verandah with lounge furniture. Located forward on Deck 6 are 16 category 2C balcony cabins (8 portside and 8 starboard), nicknamed “Sweet 16,” offering larger verandas for this category.

The ship offers 165 connecting cabins and 12 “FV-Family Veranda” suites, each accommodating up to 5 guests. These aft-facing suites measure 270 ft² (25 m²) and feature a large 240 ft² (22 m²) balcony with patio furniture and a two-seat dining table, a separate living room (coffee table, two chairs, convertible sofa/trundle bed), separate bedroom (wardrobe, queen bed, vanity, 40-inch TV), and a bathroom with WC and shower.

All Celebrity Millennium cabins include two twin beds (convertible to queen), bedside tables with lamps, ample closet space, private bathroom (shower, bath products, towels, bathrobes), sitting area (desk, drawers, vanity, sofa), smart HDTV, individual air conditioning, direct-dial phone, personal safe (in closet or behind desk mirror), mini-bar (mini-fridge in AquaClass and suites), Wi-Fi access, deluxe 100% cotton bedding, and 24-hour complimentary room service. Some cabins have sofa beds or upper Pullman beds for a third/fourth guest. Bathroom amenities include bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a wall-mounted hairdryer.

Each stateroom is equipped with an interactive flat-screen TV and keyboard-remote control. The HDTV is connected to a mini Mac computer, enabling guests to access the Internet, book excursions, make reservations, order services, check onboard accounts, and browse food and bar menus. Entertainment includes on-demand movies and channels featuring sports, music, news, ship info, and live camera feeds. TV sizes vary by cabin category, from 32 to 52 inches in the largest suites.

Each cabin has multiple US-standard (3-prong, 110V) power outlets and one European-standard (2-prong, 220V) outlet. UK passengers need adapters. There are no bedside outlets, so an extension cord is recommended.

Celebrity Cruises’ Penthouse Suites are among the most spacious and highly rated at sea. Each includes a foyer, separate bedroom (king bed, 52-inch TV, vanity, walk-in closet, dressing room), bathroom (floor-to-ceiling window, marble floor, 26-inch TV, double-sink vanity, whirlpool tub, WC/bidet, two-person shower with dual heads), large living room (hardwood floors, motorized curtains, plush furnishings, double sofa bed, coffee table, four chairs, media center, 52-inch TV with surround sound, baby grand piano), dining area (glass-topped eight-seat table, butler’s pantry, full wet bar), powder room (WC and shower), full guest bathroom, and an expansive 1100 ft² (102 m²) veranda with patio furniture, six-seat dining table, outdoor Jacuzzi, and bar with four stools.

Royal Suites feature a separate bedroom (queen bed, vanity, TV, large walk-in closet), master bathroom (whirlpool tub, separate shower, double-sink vanity), guest bathroom (WC/sink), large living room (L-shaped double sofa bed, coffee table, armchair, media center, 52-inch TV with surround sound), separate dining area (glass-topped six-seat table, wet bar), and a 195 ft² (18 m²) veranda with patio furniture and outdoor Jacuzzi.

Celebrity Suites include an entrance hall, separate bedroom (two twin beds/convertible to queen, vanity, 32-inch TV, walk-in closet), dual-access bathroom (bathtub and shower), glass-enclosed living room (double sofa bed, four-seat dining table, coffee table, vanity, two chairs, media center, 52-inch TV with surround sound), and an 85 ft² (8 m²) veranda. Note: Suites 6104 and 6106 do not have balconies and instead feature floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sky Suites (mini-suites) offer two twin beds (convertible to queen), a living area (double sofa bed, 40-inch TV, mini-fridge, coffee table, armchair), bathroom (bathtub/shower), and a 55 ft² (5 m²) veranda.

AquaClass (“spa cabins”) are located on Decks 9 and 11 and are slightly larger than Deluxe Balcony staterooms (190 ft² interior plus 55 ft² balcony). Exclusive amenities include priority seating at Blu restaurant (aft-portside, Deck 5), unlimited access to the Spa’s Persian Garden and Relaxation Room, daily bottled water and flavored iced tea, Frette linens, bathrobes, slippers, pillow menu, spa-grade bath products, healthy room service menu, daily canapés, wellness classes, and access to a personal Spa Concierge for treatments and wellness resources. Bathrooms have a five-head Hansgrohe shower tower.

Concierge Class cabins offer priority check-in, welcome gifts (sparkling wine, fruits, flowers, Celebrity tote bag), evening hors d'oeuvres, pillow menu, preferred dinner seating, shoeshine service, exclusive Concierge Lounge (Deck 3, offering free coffee, juices, pastries), exclusive Main Dining Room lunch (embarkation day only), and upgraded balcony furniture.

Suite Class passengers (excluding Junior Suites) enjoy complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Luminae restaurant (Deck 4, portside-aft).

The Retreat Suites feature butler service accessible via WhatsApp. Guests also benefit from a dedicated excursion expert offering personalized planning and transportation arrangements for shore excursions. Butler escorts are available for private transfers ashore.

The 24-hour room service menu includes cold/hot breakfast (cereals, fruits, eggs, pancakes), daily soups, salads, fast food (burgers, sandwiches, pizza), desserts, vegetable lasagna, steaks, quesadillas, and items from the Main Dining Room dinner menu. Orders can be placed via phone or interactive TV.

IMPORTANT: Celebrity Cruises charges a USD 3.95 service fee for late-night room service (11 PM–6 AM), applied fleetwide including Millennium. Passengers in AquaClass, Concierge Class, and all Suites are exempt.

IMPORTANT: The daily replenishment of bottled water for AquaClass cabins is no longer offered. AquaClass, Sky Suite, and Celebrity Suite guests now receive two 9 oz (250 ml) bottles of water only once—upon embarkation. However, AquaClass guests can still get bottled water free at bars through their beverage package. Note: Celebrity’s drink packages are not available on transoceanic (including Transatlantic) cruises.

Gratuities (per person, per day) are automatically charged: USD 13.50 for standard cabins (Inside, Oceanview, Balcony), USD 14 for AquaClass and Concierge Class (up from USD 13.45), and USD 17 for Suites (up from USD 16.45). Gratuities are shared among service staff (dining, housekeeping, cabin attendants, etc.).
