Deck layout and review

Review of Viking Mimir deck 4 (Sundeck)

Navigation Bridge (called Wheelhouse on riverboats) is passenger accessible and collapsible (can be lowered when the ship passes under low bridges).

Sky Bar is a fore-located enclosed bar lounge with outdoor seating (4-seat tables and reclining garden chairs).

SkyLight is a glass-roof cover that allows natural light in the Atrium.

Sun Deck is enclosed by glass railings and provides 360-degree riverside scenery views, comfortable deckchairs, low tables, sun loungers, canopy shaded sitting areas. Sundeck’s sunbathing area is encircled by the Walking Track.

With aft location are two practice Mini-Golf Putting Green courts, deck games area (Shuffleboard Court, Giant Chess Set), and the ship’s Herb Garden (organic herbal garden).

The aft-located Solar Panels are an alternative energy source for the cruise ship’s hybrid engines (diesel-electric).

One elevator (passenger lift) connects only decks 2 (Main) and 3 (Upper). All decks are interconnected via stairs - forward (Grand Staircase in the Atrium), midship and aft. From Upper Deck (3), the Sun Deck can be accessed via 5 staircases (1 forward, 2 midship, 2 aft).
