Review of ms Nieuw Amsterdam deck 1 (Main-Cabins-Lobby)

World Stage (fka The Showroom at Sea/capacity 890 seats, level 1 of 2) is the ship’s 3-deck-high theater and main show lounge, also serving Holland America Line’s onboard enrichment program (via partnership with BBC Earth). The theater's daily entertainment includes bingo games, lectures, lectures and media presentations, movies. In the evenings are presented large-scale show productions, concerts, live band music and performances by comedians, magicians, illusionists.

The Atrium is a 3-deck-high, open-floor designed midship area with a stage for live music and performance entertainment. The Atrium's lower level (1 of 3) features a hanging/upside-down from the ceiling glass sculpture (by "Creazioni Lebigre & Roger") and is served by Atrium Bar (37 seats lobby bar).

The Foyer/lobby lounge houses the Shore Excursions Desk (booking, information, planning), Future Cruises Desk (onboard bookings, loyalty program information), and Guest Services Desk (Front Office/Reception - 24-hour assistance, information, reservations/bookings).

Main Deck cruise cabins from F1001 to Е1130, of which Inside (categories J-K-Standard and Large) and the rest are Oceanview staterooms (categories F, E, DD, D, C-Large).
