MS Eurodam (2008-built, last refurbished in 2023) is the first of two Signature-class Holland America Line ships, together with ms Nieuw Amsterdam.

The Eurodam cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 1,052 staterooms for 2,104 passengers (maximum capacity 2,525), served by 930 crew. The vessel has 12 passenger-accessible decks (8 with cabins), 12 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof), 7 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpools), and 10 elevators (4 scenic glass-walled lifts).

MS Eurodam deck plan changes – 2016 refurbishment review

Following a two-week drydock refurbishment (December 2015 – January 2016), the ship introduced new dining venues, upgraded suites, and enhanced entertainment options.

• (Deck 2) The "Northern Lights" lounge was replaced by the new Gallery Bar, created in partnership with celebrity mixologist Dale DeGroff.
• (Lido Deck) The Lido Market was redesigned with a modern “island station” concept.
• (Deck xx) "Billboard Onboard and Lincoln Center" introduced live entertainment featuring classical music performances, dueling pianos, music trivia, and afternoon recitals (on sea days). The new show lounge was developed in partnership with Lincoln Center, the largest performing arts complex in New York City, USA.
• All Suites were upgraded with new carpeting, furniture, USB and electrical outlets. Bathrooms and vanity areas were enhanced as well.
• All cabins received new 42-inch flat-screen TVs with an infotainment system offering a large movie library (over 200 films), numerous TV series, and live TV channels.
• After the refit, the Casino became smoke-free and was reduced in size to make room for the new "Casino Bar" featuring a live piano and vocal duo performing nightly.

In 2016, Holland America Line also updated MS Eurodam's onboard programming (enrichment, entertainment, and children’s activities), replacing the “Dancing With the Stars” theme with “BBC Earth” content.

• The ship’s theatre now hosts expert lectures, multimedia presentations, and nature-themed game shows with BBC Earth footage, introduced by the crews who filmed the series. A signature evening concert inspired by “Frozen Planet” (polar regions theme) combines spectacular visuals with live music.
• The children’s club features an explorer trail, workshops (including journalism and filmmaking), and educational fact shows (focused on animals and dinosaurs).
• HAL’s themed voyages include access to BBC Earth series creators, behind-the-scenes stories, and interactive media sessions. Children can participate in hands-on filming workshops.

New Room Service Menu

Since December 2016, MS Eurodam has offered an updated room service menu featuring a mix of complimentary Continental and à la carte breakfast items, plus sample dishes from the ship’s specialty restaurants (Pinnacle Grill, Tamarind, and Dive-In Burgers).

• Complimentary starters, entrées, sandwiches, and desserts are available 24 hours a day.
• Pinnacle and Neptune Suite guests enjoy complimentary à la carte breakfast and specialty beverages.
• The Tamarind menu offers Seafood, Vegetarian, and Land & Sea bento boxes, each priced at USD 9.75.
• The Dive-In menu features assorted burgers served with fries, each priced at USD 4.95.
• The Pinnacle Grill menu offers a steak dish for USD 15 and lobster for USD 20.
• Breakfast options include complimentary scrambled eggs with hash browns and breakfast meats. Other dishes include steak and eggs (USD 9.50), smoked salmon benedict (USD 7.50), and a fruit smoothie with Greek yogurt (USD 4.95).
• A dedicated kids’ menu (free of charge) offers chicken tenders, mac & cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and other snacks.
