ACL-American Cruise Lines announced the beginning of the 2022 river cruise season on the Columbia & Snake Rivers.

In April, the line celebrated the new season via the opening of a new cruise ship dock in Kalama (Washington), which ACL built in partnership with the Port of Kalama.

ACL’s fleet of riverboats has been sailing the region since 2010 and ACL remains dedicated to the expansion and development of tourism throughout the region. The company has 4 riverboats exploring the Columbia & Snake Rivers in 2022 between Hayden Island/Portland (Oregon) and Clarkston (Washington) and will add a 5th riverboat to the region next year.

For this current year, ACL offers 3 different itineraries on the Columbia & Snake Rivers: a classic 8-day Columbia & Snake Rivers voyage and a longer 11-day Northwest Pioneers journey (both between Hayden Island/Portland OR and Clarkston WA); as well as a 5-day Highlights of the Columbia River roundtrip from Portland OR.

Passengers onboard ACL’s Columbia & Snake Rivers sailings can retrace the route of Lewis and Clark while relaxing on one of the company’s newest modern-style American river ships or classic paddle wheelers.

ACL’s voyages offer pre-/post-cruise packages, including complimentary hotel stays and new adventures from Flight-Seeing tours to Jet Boat rides. New for 2022, the company has introduced National Parks Post-Cruise Packages following select Columbia & Snake Rivers voyages ending in Clarkston WA. The packages include 3-/7-night guided explorations through a number of the country’s most beautiful national parks: Grand Teton, Glacier, and Yellowstone.
