CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has announced its 2027–2028 deployment schedule, highlighting a broad mix of Caribbean sailings from three USA homeports and an expanded European program. The schedule lists a special “solar eclipse cruise” on Carnival Miracle, set to sail on July 29th, 2027.
Carnival Miracle will begin operations from Galveston, Texas, on March 29th, 2027, marking part of CCL's 4-ship deployment from the Lone Star State. The ship’s schedule will feature short 4-day sailings to Cozumel and several extended itineraries to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean, calling at destinations such as Celebration Key, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Montego Bay, and Grand Cayman. A 10-day Panama Canal voyage is also planned, including calls in Costa Rica, Panama, Roatán, and Cozumel.
In early May 2027, Carnival Miracle will reposition to Europe, with a 14-day Transatlantic crossing from Galveston to Lisbon. The voyage visits Bermuda (Hamilton) and the Portuguese ports of Funchal and Ponta Delgada. The vessel will then operate from Lisbon to Dover (London), offering sailings through the British Isles, Northern Europe, and the Baltic region. Later in the season, the ship will move to homeport Civitavecchia (Rome), from which it will run Mediterranean cruises to destinations across Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia.
A standout feature of the program is an 11-day Carnival Journeys voyage departing Dover on July 29th, 2027, which will include a day at sea for solar eclipse viewing on August 2nd.
Meanwhile, Carnival Paradise and Carnival Elation will continue serving Florida homeports in Tampa and Jacksonville, respectively. Both Fantasy-class CCL vessels will maintain a series of 4- to 6-day Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries, with stops including Nassau, Cozumel, Key West, Celebration Key, and Half Moon Cay.
