Seabourn has outlined its 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise, a 120-day global passage aboard Seabourn Quest that will span 5 continents and more than 50 ports of call.

The voyage is scheduled to depart PortMiami on January 7th, 2028 and will mark the commencement of the cruise line’s 40th anniversary year, linking two historic maritime landmarks—Cape Horn at South America’s southern extremity and the Cape of Good Hope off South Africa’s Atlantic coast—over a route exceeding 26 000 nautical miles. The itinerary also retraces an element of Seabourn’s early history by transiting the Panama Canal

The routing incorporates a mix of classic ports and remote regions. Included are voyages into Antarctic waters, visits to the Falkland Islands and Easter Island, and exploration of the Chilean fjords, with supplementary expedition-style elements led by an expanded team of specialists. For the first time on a Seabourn world cruise, select expedition experiences such as Zodiac cruising, guided walks and optional kayaking tours are incorporated into the programme without additional charge. Quest will also make several maiden calls for the fleet, including to Robinson Crusoe Island and Santa Clara Island in the South Pacific and Nightingale Island in the South Atlantic, while the overall schedule reaches more than 38 sites recognised by UNESCO.

The world cruise can be undertaken in two formats: a full 120-day traversal from Miami to Dover (London), or a shortened 112-day option concluding in Lisbon. Both itinerary versions are structured to provide extended stays in key ports and enhanced opportunities for cultural and environmental engagement. The voyage package comprises a suite of amenities and coordinated elements, such as an overland segment to Machu Picchu, business-class air transportation, enhanced satellite connectivity, shipboard credit and pre-cruise arrangements in Miami, with an early-booking incentive available to those reserving by the end of January 2026.

The Cape to Cape World Cruise reflects the integration of traditional ocean cruising with expedition-oriented activity and a broad geographic reach, situating Seabourn Quest in varied maritime environments from polar seas to equatorial island chains and cultural heartlands across multiple regions.
