Seabourn and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises have confirmed an extension and elevation of their collaborative program for 2027 following strong demand for their combined river-and-ocean voyages.
The two companies first joined forces in 2025 to introduce Venice and the Mediterranean Sea, a global-first hybrid itinerary that linked Uniworld’s river itineraries with Seabourn’s ocean cruises, incorporating seamless transfers and integrated scheduling. Those initial combined departures, set to sail in summer 2026, were released for sale in August and reached full occupancy within six weeks, prompting the expansion of the partnership with additional, lengthened itineraries and enhanced accommodation categories for 2027.
Under the 2027 program, bookings open from December 27th, 2025, for a 16-day B2B titled "Venice, Adriatic and Aegean Seas", which brings together Uniworld’s "Venice and the Jewels of the Veneto" itinerary on SS La Venezia with an 8-night itinerary on Seabourn Ovation. This ocean leg transits from Fusina (Venice) to multiple Mediterranean destinations including ports along the Croatian coast, Malta, the Aeolian Islands, Sorrento and Civitavecchia, functioning as a comprehensive voyage through both riverine and maritime environments.
An extended 19-day version of this hybrid journey is also offered, incorporating a 3-day land stay in Ljubljana with guided exploration of Slovenia prior to embarkation. In addition, a separate itinerary, The Wonders of the Adriatic and the Venetian Lagoon, is scheduled to depart on June 5th, 2027, commencing with an 8-night ocean segment from Athens to Fusina aboard Seabourn Ovation, followed by a 7-night river cruise with La Venezia through Venice and its lagoon.
Accommodation categories across these combined packages have been adjusted to reflect market interest, with the entry levels elevated to Deluxe on the river segment and Veranda V1 on the ocean vessel to support the higher tier experience. The ships involved maintain the all-inclusive luxury and service standards typical of both brands, with personal service and curated onboard environments carried through from river to sea.
