Oceania Cruises expands Northern Europe program for 2027

Oceania Cruises has unveiled its 2027 Northern Europe season, offering a collection of destination-focused voyages aboard the line’s smaller ships, Oceania Insignia, Oceania Marina and Oceania Vista. The program highlights a wide range of itineraries across the Baltic Sea, Scandinavia, the British Isles, Iceland, Greenland and the Norwegian fjords, with an emphasis on extended exploration during the region’s summer season.

Designed around Northern Europe’s long daylight hours and seasonal attractions, the itineraries feature a combination of major capitals and smaller ports that are often inaccessible to larger cruise vessels. Destinations such as Rosendal in Norway, Stornoway in Scotland, Seydisfjordur in Iceland and Karlskrona in Sweden complement calls at established cruise hubs including Copenhagen, Reykjavik and Stockholm.

The cruise line has also developed a range of shore excursions intended to provide deeper engagement with local culture, history and landscapes. In Norway’s Hardanger region, guests will have the opportunity to explore local apple-growing traditions through guided cider tastings. In Visby, Sweden, Oceania’s Culinary Discovery Tours will focus on farm-to-table experiences and regional cuisine, while excursions in eastern Iceland will take visitors into remote fjord communities and mountainous landscapes rarely encountered by conventional travelers.

Company representatives indicated that the Northern Europe program was designed to provide a comprehensive exploration of one of the world’s most sought-after cruising regions. They noted that the use of smaller vessels allows access to destinations that can be difficult to visit independently while enabling guests to experience multiple countries and cultures without changing accommodations throughout the journey.

The 2027 season forms part of Oceania Cruises’ broader global deployment, which includes more than 600 ports and over 250 itineraries annually. The line continues to position itself around destination-rich voyages combined with its adults-focused onboard atmosphere, personalized service and culinary offerings.
